Yeah clearing your cookies will fix the facebook problem it was something that happened to me a while back.

I quite like the idea of campings effectiveness being reduced if you do it too often and the idea of tiers sounds fairly effective.

I like the idea of random dungeons scaled to your level but they would need a lot of incentive for me to grind through them as ultimatley crawling through dungeons regardless if they are diffrent would get old after a while even with monsters scaled to your level as currently there is very little reason for me not to just spam swirly thing of doom until there are no monsters left.

As far as incentive to play and replay, I think Diablo II had a winning formula. I know it would probably be a huge undertaking and a major gameplay change, but I think if there were random item buffs that could drop, it would add a lot of replayability (exquisite moderately sharp playing card of the sanguine fox?!?). I think if there was some way we could tap into that feeling of wanting to keep playing to get the weapon or armor with a certain buff on it might be good.

At the same time, PQ has historically and intentionally been a casual gaming experience meant to be played a bit here and there. Adding a random drop mechanic could significantly change how the game plays and the feel of everything. There's a fine balance between having the desire to play a little more and a little more often, and putting off eating, sleeping, etc. in order to keep playing. There's a point at which the gameplay becomes really addicting, but kind of brainless and empty.

Even as I'm typing this, I feel that I'd rather keep PQ more on the casual side of the spectrum, instead of addicting to a fault.

I couldn't agree with this more. After playing borderlands I'd love to see this implemented.

Random drops can be irritating and addictive but for players that do want more it gives the more incentive. The problem is balancing it so players don't feel they need to go after those drops but those who are looking for a little extra challenge or a little more loot will feel it is worth the effort.

I'm all for rare loot in pseudoquest as long as it gives me incentive to keep playing.

Please make individual threads in feature suggestions for these ideas, as the conversation's starting to get a bit muddled in here. ;) I'll add comments to those threads independently, just to keep things more-or-less on topic here.

For the Facebook issue, that's a long-standing open bug in the queue. An easier workaround until I can fix that one is to just point your browser at /ingame.html after it drops you into the Facebook character - you can logout from there without having to muck with cookies.

As for switching LilMorjax to turnless, I'm going to defer on that based on the fact that the turnless system is going to be made live within the next 2 weeks, if not sooner. More info on that will come shortly in a different status update thread.

Heres an idea I got while playing oblivion

what about a new set of legendary items? Each could have it's own dungeon and two items at the end of the dungeon with the player having to choose one.

However I wouldn't implement that till theres more pvp where items such as these would actually be needed.

edit: turns out I hadn't completed all the smallvilles quests. In total that quest chain took me I'd say 2 hours and 30 minutes.
